What is iCloud?
iCloud is an online storage environment developed by Apple that allows you to store data such as your photos, music, documents and apps on remote computer servers and access them for download onto other Apple devices running iOS 5 or later. iCloud allows you to sync your data such as contacts, notes, iWork documents (think Pages, Keynote and Numbers), music, books, apps, calendar, notes, contacts, bookmarks, recent purchases, photos, etc., to multiple devices and can back up the supported content of your device up to the Cloud environment wirelessly on a regularly scheduled basis once the service has been set up and initialized providing you with peace of mind should something happen to your Apple device. You also have the ability to log in to iCloud and access the Find My iPhone app (provided that you have it installed on the iPad and have Location Services running on the iPad) to delete the contents of your iPad or pinpoint its location on a map should it get lost or stolen
